Till 2019 Jipmer ug entrance exams were conducted seperately but from 2020 onwards clearing neet and securing ranks under above AIR1300 is essential to get an admit tickets to jipmer
Among the three major exams in the country for medicine right now(AIIMS, NEET JIPMER)….i would rate jipmer easiest with respect to physics and chemistry.
Biology is of higher level than neet as in neet the questions are confined to ncert mainly while in jipmer they can be from anywhere .
For example i remember a question asked about how to calculate the ph of soil or something like that … which is completely out of ncert. So all the best for the exam ….hope to see you here!!!!
I've given these exams last year and in my opinion, the level of difficulty is as follows:
JIPMER < NEET < AIIMS.
However the chances of making it through JIPMER is VERY difficult unless you're well versed and confident about your preparation. One and a half lakh to two lakh candidates compete for the 200 seats.
You never know what to expect in JIPMER. Last year we got around 10 questions on pure mathematics in the physics section of JIPMER. So keep calm and do well.
OK. I am no genius. But if you know your NCERT well, it's pretty easy. If you have the entire 40 days, and nothing else but sleep, with proper spaced repetition, it can be done.
P. S. I cracked JIPMER by revising just once for 1 day. Cause I was pretty bored with the AIPMT preparations. (I finished the entire Tintin Series in the seven day before the exam.)
